How we evaluate
Both partnerships start small and get more committed only as the evidence and the agreements do.
Eligibility
- A real problem in a market you understand
- A contribution that is hard to copy: expertise, distribution or capital
- A product Merge is well placed to build or assess
- Willingness to put roles and terms in writing
Confidentiality and governance
- Introductory enquiries are treated as confidential
- NDAs before detailed material is shared
- Independence and conflicts disclosed up front
- Equity, IP and control settled only in definitive agreements

Is Merge an investor?
Merge is a product-building company. Venture Co-Build is a selective building partnership, not an investment program, and Investor Portfolio Support is a service for investors.
Can I pitch an idea for Merge to build for free?
Co-builds are selective partnerships with shared responsibility. If you want a product built on standard terms, the MVP Launch Studio is the right route.
How quickly will I hear back?
A person reads every enquiry and replies. If it isn't a fit, we'll say so plainly.
