Products operated by Merge Leading Edge publish their own policies.
What we collect, and why
Enquiries (Start a Project, contact forms): your name, email, optional company and phone, your answers about the project, your message, the page you came from and your consent choice. Purpose: to reply, assess fit and follow up on your enquiry. Basis: your consent and your request.
Call bookings: your name, email, the slot you chose and an optional topic. Purpose: to arrange the call and send the meeting link.
Ovi and the AI Blueprint: the text you type is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. We do not store these conversations. Voice mode starts only when you press it and uses your browser's speech features; Merge receives only the resulting text, never audio.
Anonymous analytics (only with your permission): pages viewed, scroll depth, sections viewed and buttons clicked, linked to a random identifier that lasts only for your browser tab. No names, emails, message text, cookies or IP addresses are stored with these events.
Technical data: our hosting provider processes IP address, browser and request time to deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep security logs.
What we don't do
- No advertising, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or behavioural profiling.
- No sale or rental of personal data.
- No marketing emails unless you separately ask for them.
- No automated decisions with legal or similar effects about you.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and booking requests: 24 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless we start working together (then the contract record applies).
- Anonymous analytics events: 13 months, then deleted.
- Security and server logs: up to 90 days.
- Ovi conversations: not stored by us.
Who processes it for us
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site, under contract and only for these purposes:
- Hostinger: website hosting, database and business email.
- Anthropic: generates Ovi and AI Blueprint replies from the text you type (processed in the United States).
- Resend: backup transactional email, used only if our primary email is unavailable (United States).
Where data is processed outside India, we rely on the transfer being permitted under the DPDP Act and on contractual safeguards.
Embedded venture websites
Venture pages can show the venture's live website inside the page. That embedded site loads only on that page, is operated by the venture, and its own privacy policy applies to anything it collects.
Your rights
You can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct or update it; delete it; withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before); and nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot.
Email hello@mergeleadingedge.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, saying what you'd like us to do. We'll confirm your identity, acknowledge within 7 days and complete the request within 30 days. You can change analytics consent any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Children
This website is not directed at children. If you are under 18 and want to talk to us about an idea, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us with you; we will not knowingly process a child's data without verifiable parental consent.
Security
Forms are validated and rate-limited, data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people handling enquiries, and secrets are never exposed to browsers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires. See our security practices.
